Educators face the challenge of preparing students for an uncertain future job landscape increasingly influenced by AI, machine learning, and advanced language models like ChatGPT and Bard. This course aims to provide educators with a deep understanding of AI’s growing significance in education. AI has the potential to transform teaching by enhancing accessibility, efficiency, and personalized learning. While ChatGPT can be a valuable educational tool, it must be used ethically and responsibly. The course focuses on understanding AI’s role in education, emphasizing practical applications of ChatGPT through informative sessions, hands–on exercises, and presentations. It promotes modern professional development methods, encouraging dialogue, reflection, and collaborative learning in an interactive, participant-centred environment.

Course Objectives:

• A clear understanding of AI in Education. Participants should be able to apply their knowledge and skills acquired during the course to create educational experiences that incorporate AI technologies.
• The participant–centred learning environment, where their voices and perspectives are valued, and they are encouraged to actively contribute to discussions.
• Upon completion of the course, participants should feel better equipped to prepare students for the future job landscape, understanding the potential role of AI and other emerging technologies.
• Foster a supportive community of educators who are keen on AI in education.
• Enhancing the English language and digital skills.
• Grow and develop professionally in an international environment, network, and build strong relationships with your colleagues from all over Europe.
• Share best practices and apply them at a local level and European common values.
• Promote intercultural awareness.
