Explore the Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) approach. Participants investigate methodology and strategies for effectively combining language and subject teaching in a way that motivates learners. Get guidance on engaging tasks and activities which you can implement in your classroom. This course is intended for teachers and academic staff working with primary, secondary or third level learners.
Course Modules include:
-CLIL Principles, Effective Teaching Strategies, Developing Learning Materials
-Practical activities and ideas for language lessons
-Team work and group tasks promoting peer support and idea sharing
-Immersion in Irish life- have a memorable cultural experience
Expected outcomes:
–Increase confidence and fluency communicating through English.
–Interactive and engaging lessons with experienced tutors.

The residence found in the university campus environment. There is a variety of different rooms: single en-suite room or shared en-suite room. The rooms are well equipped with WiFi, self-catering and 24/7 security onsite.
