Course

The course is for teachers of English working with secondary school students or adult learners. Although materials and course content are in English, nearly all the ideas and techniques are easily transferable to the teaching of other foreign languages and the course is therefore also suitable for teachers of other foreign languages.

Teachers attending this course must have a minimum level of B2-C2

By the end of the course you will have:

•Developed your ability to teach grammar, vocabulary and the four skills in creative, engaging and motivating ways

•Enriched and increased your store of words, expressions and phrases which form part of modern, current, everyday English

•Reactivated and strengthened your own English language speaking fluency and pronunciation skills

•Developed your linguistic and intercultural awareness.

This course is led by highly-experienced and qualified English language teachers who have trained and developed teachers for many years in courses and workshops in several European countries. Topics can be adapted depending on participants’ professional needs and teaching contexts.

School has been running training courses for the past 15 years and school professionals from all over Europe have flown to this beautiful island to have a unique learning experience, benefitting from European Funding.

All the teacher trainer are highly qualified in their field and have many years of experience as teachers and teacher trainers.
Besides providing training, our teacher trainers are very keen on their own continuing professional development and regularly attend in-service training sessions, international and local conferences, seminars and workshops.

Accommodation

Apartment

One single room with in a shared self-catering apartment located in Sliema, Msida and Gzira area.
Each apartment consists of three bedrooms, a common area with a kitchen, a living room, a dining room and a shared bathroom.
The apartments are furnished and facilities include fans or air-conditioners, heaters, a washing machine, iron and ironing board and fully equipped kitchen. Cleaning takes place once a week.
Arrival and departure airport transfer is included.

Without accommodation

There is the possibility of booking only the course, without having to hire accommodation

Family

This is the most popular option for students who want to experience daily-life in Malta. Accommoodation is in a host family in a single room with half board (breakfast and dinner) during the week. Wifi and linen provide and access to communal facilities and laundry.

In this type of accommodation, the host will treat you like one of the family. You will share common areas such as the living room, bathroom and kitchen and eat with the family.
